EU officials have welcomed the CEOs of Amazon, Apple, Facebook and Alphabet to a February 1 hearing in Brussels as they attempt to get serious about the forces of US tech goliaths. 


The European Parliament will in the coming months give contribution to proposition by the European Commission to drive the organizations to play reasonably with rivals and to accomplish more to handle online phony news and destructive substance or face weighty fines.
